It usually takes between 6 months to 1 year to produce this quality compost from garden waste. The compost is fine screened to below 7mm, making it perfect for digging into the soil or as a light top dressing.

Organic Fertilisers for use with the compost, supply the nitrogen and phosphorous to feed the plants.

Other products on sale at the SA Composters’ stall include a general-purpose Potting Mix made for growing food. This Potting Mix contains Fine Compost plus a large range of other ingredients and is ideal for raised garden beds or growing plants in tubs and containers.
