You will find Fat Goose Fruits at the Willunga Farmers Market every week from June to April

Product line: certified organic citrus, freshly-squeezed orange juice

Citrus has been growing on Humphrey Howie’s family property in Renmark for 100 years. Now run with his wife Michelle Medhurst, they have been converting their 26 hectare property from a conventional citrus to a fully-certified organic property since 1994. Three quarters of the property is now NAASA- certified organic.

Fat Goose Fruits has an extensive range of citrus which includes Leng, Washington or Late navel oranges; Valencia oranges; lemons; limes; mandarin varieties; native blood and sunrise limes (similar looking to cumquats); and yellow or pink grapefruit. All fruits are sold individually and 3kg net bags of oranges are always available.

As Fat Goose Fruits is located outside of the Fleurieu region where no citrus is grown commercially, Humphrey and Michelle are visiting producers to the Willunga Farmers Market. Their brother-in-law Steve Scown and his son Henry sell this fruit at the Market. Steve and Henry recently added Fat Fruit Joose to the stall, which provides Market goers with an early morning, freshly-squeezed juice; ideal for thirsty Saturday morning shopping.

Fat Goose Fruits certified-organic citrus fruits are distributed all around Australia from their small packing shed in Renmark.
