Product line: dips, pates, sauces and chutneys
Liz Pitman enjoys experimenting with new flavours when she creates her range of dips, pates, sauces and chutneys under the banner of The Goods Fleurieu Fine Foods.
Previously a chef working on yachts around the world, and accustomed to a smorgasbord of international flavours, Liz couldn’t find a dip to suit her taste when she returned to Australia.
So she created her own selection of delicious, preservative and gluten-free goods, bringing different and exciting flavours to her customers. The hardest part is deciding which ones to take home.
Dips
Thai curry, cream cheese base, fresh herbs, very mild.
Fleurieu fetta cheese and chilli, mild.
Salmon and caper.
Jalapeno and artichoke, has a nice bite.
Moroccan chermoula, red lentil base with sour cream.
Spicy roasted pumpkin, dairy free with a peppercorn hit.
Roast pepper with cashew salsa, fresh light flavours, vegan.
Pates
Thai lemon grass, delicate taste.
Grand Marnier, a rich, traditional flavour.
Sauces
Seriously saucy tomato, rich in flavour.
Seriously saucy spicy tomato, chipotle chilli, has a smoky heat.
Seriously saucy smoky BBQ, infused with liquid smoke.
Chutneys
Mango port chutney.
Red onion chilli pepper jam.
The Goods Fleurieu Fine Foods operates from a purpose built professional kitchen in Victor Harbor with its own café.
Local minimal-spray herbs are used in all the dips, the fetta cheese is local and other ingredients are local where possible.
