Beach Organics’ four hectare permaculture property is nestled in the hills close to Port Elliot.
Owned by Barry Beach, the property is NASAA-certified organic. Vegetables, herbs, fruits, handmade wood-oven sourdough breads, free range eggs etc are a speciality.
Beach Organics also supports traditional farmers in SE Asia. This award winning business is vertically integrated, ensuring quality and ethics from ‘paddock to plate’. Embracing the principles of fair trade, some of these products include organic coconut palm sugar, hand-made sea salts, raw cashews, vanilla beans; cold-pressed coconut oil, raw tropical blossom honeys, single origin peppercorns, spices etc.
In accordance with the Willunga Farmers Market’s code of practice Beach Organics’ spices and condiments sold at the Market are value added with produce from the farm eg palm sugar with lime and chilli, the award-winning certified-organic lime / herb flavoured sea salts etc.
A Market specialty is Barry’s hand-kneaded, organic, wood oven sourdough loaves.
