Bush Pepper Catering is a partnership between two professional and qualified chefs - Stuart McPherson and Joep Oudendijk.
They first started cooking up breakfasts at the Market in December 2009 and were immediately besieged by hungry clients.
Stuart and Joep have over 30 years experience between them including international stints in Europe, cooking in 5 star hotels, and catering at national major events.
Now this Aldinga Beach-based company focuses on serving meals with fabulous Market foods such as freshly-baked organic bread from Happy Foods and quality meat from the Willunga butchers. Bush Pepper Catering also uses ecofriendly biodegradable products such as palm leaf plates.
Breakfast choices include a bush breakfast of fried, poached or scrambled eggs with grilled tomato, home-made lima beans in tomato sauce, Willunga beef sausage, caramelised onion, and a slice of organic bread.
Or the simple but flavoursome poached eggs with salmon and spinach on a country loaf.
The smoked salmon plate comes with a herb wrap or organic bread, rocket, red onion and fresh dill cream cheese and then there are the Market-fresh omelettes. You’ll need to choose between the herbed or savoury omelette and both come with organic bread and a salad garnish.
If you fancy something more exotic then try a chickpea and lentil patty. This Moroccan-spiced patty is made with carrot, roast pumpkin, sweet potato, capsicum and sundried tomatoes, and comes with organic bread and a salad garnish.
Bush Pepper Catering is available for weddings, dinner or cocktail parties, and they’ll bake birthday cakes or anything else to suit.
